Woven Pottery pieces are one of kind and will not be exactly repeated or reproduced, however you can contact me to request a variation on the theme if the piece you are interested in is no longer available.

pottery pieces

Each pottery piece is made by hand and is therefore unique and may include slight variations in glaze finish or other surface embellishment.    Style availability for pottery pieces is on a first-come, first served basis, and there is no guarantee your favorite style will be repeated.   Feel free to contact me to inquire if I might have an item on hand that is not currently listed in my shop.

food safe? dishwasher safe? microwave safe?

All functional pottery that has been designed for a food-related purpose is food safe and can be washed in the dishwasher*. Having said that, handwashing your  pottery will reduce any likelihood of damage.

*Note: any items that have a gold luster should not go in the microwave and should be hand washed.

Is there a guarantee period?

By its nature pottery can be broken.  Beyond damage incurred during shipping, I am not responsible for issues or loss once you take possession of your piece, including but not limited to dropping or otherwise mistreating of any pottery pieces. In general, care should be taken to not shock your pottery piece with dramatic temperature changes – going from freezer to oven, putting directly on a fire or stove-top element, pouring in boiling water, etc. – as this can result in your piece cracking which may or may not become immediately apparent.

how much will they hold?

The volume of a mug or tumbler is measured full to the rim for easy comparison. If you are looking for a specific capacity, I suggest filling a similar mug to the rim and measuring its volume and base your choice upon that.

is that really the color?

Every effort is made to accurately represent colors in each listing; however, actual color may vary slightly from screen to screen due to image lighting, technology settings and other limitations.

listing errors?

We’re all human, after all: If errors in pricing are shown in the shop, then I reserve the right not to sell at the listed price.   You will be notified if such a discrepancy is an issue.



I use a mix of new and second hand boxes and materials to package my pieces for shipment.  

preferred shipper

Included shipping is for USPS.   Contact me prior to your purchase if you would like me to use a different shipper.  Cost of any rate adjustment may be applied to your order. 

International orders

At the moment I am not accepting orders for international shipping.   

local orders

Local pick up is available for those who are in or near Dalton GA. If you select local pick up you agree that you are in or will travel to Dalton to obtain your purchase.


Orders are processed twice a week. I use my judgement to determine the most cost-effective and efficient rate option to get your package safely to you.  If have a deadline for receipt, please let me know, and I will work with you to make that happen, however additional shipping costs may be assessed.   

Some select items in the shop are listed as made to order. If so, please allow 2-3 weeks before the item is ready to ship.

is your address on file with PayPal?

Please be sure that your PayPal shipping address is correct.    I ship to the address that comes through which, if out of date, may then result in your package being misdirected or returned to me.  If this does happen you will be responsible for any additional shipping to get the package to the correct address. 


If your purchase is a gift that you would like shipped directly to its recipient, please let me know so that I can remove the prices from the packing slip.    I am happy to gift wrap as well for a small charge – assessed by the size of the item.   Use the contact me form to request this.  

damage during shipment

Please alert me within 3 days of delivery at the address on the label if any part of your order is damaged during shipping. All items are carefully and adequately packaged to survive transportation; however, some packages receive rough handling during their journey.   You will be asked to provide photographs of the damaged item(s) and packaging for insurance purposes and to retain it all incase it needs to be inspected for the claim.    I will work with you to refund or replace, as you prefer.  

returns and exchanges

regularly priced items

Returns and exchanges are available for regularly priced items. Contact me within 14 days of delivery and ship items back within 30 days of delivery.

items on sale or custom and personalized work

I do not accept returns or exchanges on items purchased on sale or custom/personalized work.

return shipping costs

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.  

can I cancel my order?

Cancellations of non-custom orders are available until your order has shipped
