After too long a break from weaving, I have finally had enough time to get back to it. My inspiration for this piece is my new pet, Winston, who is a turquoise parrotlet. His plumage ranges from bright green to turquoise and jade and flashes of cobalt blue hidden under his wings. He has been my little companion since I got him in November and is a daily delight to me! He is by turns, sweet and cuddly then feisty and funny. I never imagined that I would be a bird owner but now that I am, I love it – and him!
