wp – mars
Out of stock
7 months and 293 million miles later, Perseverance recently landed on the 4th planet from our sun. I am equally fascinated by the human ingenuity that it took to make that happen and the scenery and sounds that are beaming back to us. Mars was named for the Roman god of war because its reddish color evoked blood and violence. The color pictures of red earth, orange skies and glittering stars in a black sky have lit up my imagination and compelled me to make this piece.
