wp – deep dusk
1 in stock
This is another piece in my Dawn and Dusk collection. Sunrises and sunsets have been on my mind a lot recently as they perfectly encapsulate beginnings and endings for me. This piece is called deep dusk as it represents the final and fading colors of sunset, before the deep black of night takes over, and the stars come out. This is the time for crickets, fireflies and winding down the day.
The 14 inch frame for this piece was thrown on a pottery wheel and glazed with a variety of colors and a 22k gold luster. The fibers in the weaving include nylon, cotton, wool, linen and acrylic. The beads are glass, hematite, and metal.
