Description
As rays of light first broach the horizon the stars fade away, giving way to the planets as the sky turns navy blue. The clouds near the horizon catch blushes of pink and flashes of fire. Within minutes the birds see it and break out into song because they know that the sun is coming and with it the glories and adventures of the day.
Th 6.5 inch frame for this piece was thrown on a pottery wheel in black clay and then glazed in baby blue. The fibers in the weaving include leather, wool, nylon, raw silk, bamboo, cotton and linen. The beads are czech glass beads, hematite, silver, glass and cultured pearls.
