wp – Kelp

Description

Here is another piece in my water collection, inspired by the warm water of the tropics and that particular shade of clear water that speaks to coral reefs and colorful fish lurking below the surface.

The 10  inch frame for this piece was thrown on a pottery wheel. pierced with 25  holes and glazed in white.   The fibers in the weaving include nylon, wool and acrylic.   The beads are glass, wood, rubber and metal.
