When shorter days lead to crisp mornings and lovely afternoons. When shades of crimson, amber and butterscotch fill the branches before catching the wind to make carpets below; colors that are echoed in the apples, gourds and pumpkins that abound in the season.   When s’mores and cocoa accompany bonfire nights and laughter with friends.  By these things and more I know that sweater weather has finally arrived!

The 6.5  inch frame for this piece was thrown on a pottery wheel. pierced with 35 holes and glazed in pale green.   The fibers in the weaving include nylon, cotton, wool, and silk.   The beads are glass, wood, metal, clay and freshwater pearls.
