This piece was requested by and is named for my aunt, whose color choices put me in mind of a peacock. This was both appropriate and ironic because the last time I visited her in England there was a neighborhood peacock that kept getting into her garden, creating havoc, eating all of the bird food and generally behaving like a pest. While I was enchanted with these visits, she was very much not – aggressively shooing it away whenever it made an appearance!
